Premiere Ratings: 'Two and A Half Men' breaks records, Dancing drops, Monday

Ashton Kutcher has a reason to smile this Tuesday morning. The numbers are in and "Two and a Half Men" smashed ratings records last night to open the fall television season. Nearly 28 million viewers gave Two and A Half Men its series highest ratings. According to TVLine.com, "Men" broke the record for the most watched season premiere for any scripted show since Desperate Housewives back in 2005.  It also helped lead in CBS new comedy " 2 Broken Girls" which managed to receive 19.2 million viewers. "How I Met Your Mother" was up 34 percent from last year while "Hawaii Five 0" was down 10 percent.
CBS won the night for the 18-49 demo.

The season premiere of "Dancing with the Stars" was down from last year but still manage to lead ABC to win the night in viewers. According to Zap2it.com, the DWTS premiere received 18 million viewers while the highly anticipated season premiere of "Castle" gained a big boost in their numbers ,13.6 million, up 21 percent from season three premiere.

The nights biggest flop of the night was NBC's "The Playboy Club which only got 5 million and lead NBC fourth in the race .
