Strong Start for Allen's New Comedy, NCIS Leads CBS to a win. Tuesday Oct 11 Ratings

Tool Time fans are happy to see Mr. Tim Allen gracing our television screens again. The new ABC comedy starring Allen, "Last Man Standing" debuted to strong numbers last night earning 12.95 million viewers for its double episode premiere. According to TVline.com, the premiere was the most watched 8/7c comedy for the network since 2004. It scored mixed reviews from its audience but was a great lead in for "Dancing with the Stars" which was up 10 percent from last Tuesday and won its time slot receiving 16.6 million viewers.

Fox's Tuesday lineup was absent due to the coverage of the ALCS Games. It improved throughout the night even winning the 18-49 demo in the 10/9c hour but only averaged 7.94 million viewers.

NCIS continued to be the most watched show according to Zap2it.com with 18.7 million viewers. Its sister show NCIS: LA dipped a bit but manage to pull in 15.5 million while the freshman drama Unforgettable earned 11.8 million which all together helped CBS win the night and key demo.
